Russell Crowe Claims Michael Jackson Spent 3 Years Prank Calling Him
by Adam Pliskin
Michael Jackson was known for being rather childish throughout his life, but this next revelation takes things to a new level. Apparently, Jackson used to prank call Russell Crowe over a period of two to three years.
Even though Jackson had never met Crowe, he somehow figured out the alias Crowe went by when he stayed in hotels.
That enabled MJ to ring up Crowe and make silly jokes at his expense. Crowe said,
For two or three f*cking years, I never met him, shook his hand, but he found out the name I stayed in hotels under, so it didn't matter where I was, he'd ring up do this kind of thing, like you did when you were 10, you know.
As you may have guessed, Jackson's jokes weren't very good, but that didn't stop him from making them. Crowe said,
[He'd say] 'Is Mr. Wall there? Is Mrs. Wall there? Are there any Walls there? Then what's holding the roof up? Ha ha.' You're supposed to grow out of doing that, right?
I guess Michael Jackson never really did grow up, just like Peter Pan.
