When Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston broke up, the world was left stunned.

Haha, just kidding. Everyone saw it coming.

Since the start of their relationship, many people believed Hiddleswift was just one big publicity stunt because they were too "picture perfect" to be real.

When the Emmy nominations first came out, Twitter freaked because no one wanted Taylor to be Tom's date.

A "Taylor Stay Home" hashtag even surfaced. Yikes.

When they broke up at the beginning of September, I guess Tom's fans were relieved. Oops... sorry girl.

Well, it's finally time for the 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards show, aka the big day Tom Hiddleston walks the red carpet.

The man is up for best actor for his role in "The Night Manager." Fans eagerly waited for him to arrive...

...but he never did, until the last minute. He arrived extremely  late to the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, but better late than never, am I right?

Tom came seconds before the red carpet closed and rushed in with the cast and crew of "The Night Manager."

LOL, he 100 percent skipped the red carpet to avoid having people ask him questions about Taylor Swift. Smart move, Hiddleston.
