Let's break down the worst/best moments.

The cringe was unavoidable in Selling Sunset Season 5. From the romantic bits to the scenes with extreme tension, almost every episode included a moment that made viewers squirm on their couches. Here’s a definitive list of the cringiest moments in Selling Sunset Season 5.

Netflix

It all started in Episode 1, when Chrishell Stause told the incredibly embarrassing story of how she once pretended to cook a meal for a former date. This was apparently meant to prove how in love she was with Jason Oppenheim (her boss) — maybe cute, but still cringe.

Netflix

The Jason and Chrishell cringe didn’t stop there — in Episode 2, Chrishell compared their relationship to that of mega celebs and philanthropists George and Amal Clooney. It was so unexpected, I’d consider it a jump scare.

Netflix

By Episode 5, other cast members got involved in the cringe. Davina Potratz and Mary Fitzgerald had a hellish fight with a very angry client in a very pink blazer. Twitter couldn’t get enough of it.

In the same episode, Micah McDonald and Emma Hernan heated up their relationship with a date... in the construction zone of Micah’s new restaurant — definitely not the classic sense of romance. It got worse, though, when he asked Emma, a known vegan, to eat crickets.

Netflix

As any Selling Sunset fan knows, Christine Quinn may be fierce, but she’s not immune to the cringe. In Episode 6, she compared her look to Ivanka Trump... which is a choice, all things considered.

Netflix

In a moment cringe enough to trend on Twitter, Jason seemingly pretended to take a very serious business call with his camera app open. Rookie reality TV mistake, Jason.

In perhaps the cringiest moment of the entire season, Vanessa Villela’s boyfriend, Nicholas Hardy, seemed to propose to her in the office, in front of everyone. The ultimate cringe: watching all the reactions when Vanessa told her co-stars it was only a promise ring.

Netflix

Mary and Romain Bonnett’s fights this season were packed with an extra ounce of cringe topped with some very awkward silences. Romain’s outfit during their gym argument — complete with culotte sweatpants — somehow made that fight even worse.

Netflix

As if the tea party from hell wasn’t cringe enough, Davina’s ensuing argument with Christine and Chelsea Lazkani, which pushed her to ask everybody to weigh in on her personality, was cringe city. Twitter said it best.

Out of all the cringe Selling Sunset Season 5 has to offer, the most squirm-worthy has to be how Jason continuously asked Chrishell to rub his head. No matter how hard you try, it’s hard to erase the image of Chrishell essentially petting Jason (again, her boss) all season.
