Emma Watson's Leaked Song In 'Beauty And The Beast' Will Give You Chills
Disney fans can't wait until March, the month when the live-action remake of the beloved animated classic "Beauty and the Beast" will finally hit theaters.
With the perfect casting of Emma Watson as Belle, people didn't fear that she wouldn't have the acting chops for the role. But many wondered: can that girl sing of nah?
Thanks to a Hasbro Belle doll, we have our answer.
Spoiler alert: The answer is yes.
Emma Watson can sing, and she sounds so much like Belle that my inner child is screaming like she was just told that despite losing her little league game, her coach was still buying everyone pizza.
SHE IS PARTYING LIKE IT'S 1991, Y'ALL.
The doll has an audio clip of Watson singing "Something There" that was leaked on Thursday by a fan who found the doll in stores.
A producer on the film, Jack Morrissey, posted the clip to his Instagram -- so it is confirmed.
This is not a drill. This is how Watson sounds.
Even through the grainy audio, you can tell that Watson is the perfect bookworm-turned-beast-tamer.
Josh Gad, who plays LeFou in the remake, talked about the crazy pressure the cast is under to make sure they exceed fans' expectations.
During a Facebook Live Q&A, he said,
...[T'here's such curiosity, joy, excitement and buzz about [the film]... That's an enormous amount of pressure, actually, but also something that we all take very seriously. Every day we're making this movie, we know what the bar is, and we're trying to match that bar, if not exceed it in some ways. So we're very well aware of that.
The movie, which also stars Dan Stevens as the Beast, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Luke Evans as Gaston and Emma Thompson as Mrs Potts, will hit theaters on March 17, 2017.
