Insane New 'Spider-Man' Trailer Reveals Michael Keaton As Villain Vulture
Listen up nerds, the new "Spider-Man: Homecoming" trailer just dropped, so I'm guessing you all want to nerd out about it.
Well, you nerds came to the right place, because holy shit, am I nerding out over this trailer, you guys.
Like, I know this is the third iteration of "Spider-Man" in a decade. And I know that's kind of annoying. But I really think actor Tom Holland is going to get this version right.
And we finally got a look at Michael Keaton's take on the Vulture — as the 65-year-old actor known for his role as Batman makes his first foray into the Marvel cinematic universe.
Let's dive into this trailer, which Sony Pictures Entertainment dropped Tuesday morning.
So we start off with Peter Parker in high school, and his friend Ned has just figured out he's Spider-Man.
Thankfully, this movie will be sparing us the full origin story.
(The film takes place after "Captain America: Civil War," where we first met Holland's Spider-Man.)
Peter, who is clearly a true bro, lets Ned try on his suit.
Then Michael Keaton comes in to fuck shit up.
And we finally get to see his Vulture costume!
The eyes light up!
The wings are huge!
Michael Keaton can't stop playing super birds!
Worst Dad Ever Tony Stark is around a lot to nag Peter about safety 'n stuff.
The Iron Man suit also makes an appearance.
Marisa Tomei is there, bringing the sexy back to Aunt May.
Even Captain America makes a cameo.
Blink and you'll probably miss Donald Glover.
Overall, the trailer was pretty dang epic.
Oh, and Peter apparently has a flying pet spider now.
What's that about?
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will hit theaters everywhere this summer, July 7.
