First Trailer For The 'Harry Potter' Spinoff 'Fantastic Beasts' Is Here

SOMEONE HAD BETTER *PETRIFICUS TOTALUS* ME RIGHT QUICK 'CAUSE I'M ABOUT TO HAVE A FULL-BODY FREAKOUT.

An announcement trailer for “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” a spinoff of the “Harry Potter” series, was just released, and while much remains a mystery, the hype has begun.

The film follows Newt Scamander, the fictional author of Hogwarts textbook "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" portrayed by Eddie Redmayne, as he arrives in New York City circa 1920 with a suitcase of (fantastic) magical (beasts) creatures.

From the teaser, it's evident some of the creatures escape Scamander's custody, but until a full trailer is released, fans are left waiting on the dramatic details.

In the meantime, crack open a copy of "FBAWTFT," published by JK Rowling back in 2001, and speculate wildly as to which monsters, sprites and spirits will make appearances in November 2016.
