New 'Gilmore Girls' Photo Gives Us A Major Hint About Rory And Dean

Just as the torturous task of waiting for “American Horror Story” season 6 to finally start and reveal its secrets has come to fruition, “Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life” is swooping in with little clues to drive us crazy until November 25.

The latest offering from the upcoming Netflix original series hints at a Dean Forester/Rory Gilmore reunion of hearts, starches and mouths.

A post on the official “Gilmore Girls” Instagram account appears, at first, to be a small shelf of books.

A closer look reveals the book in the center is actually a box of corn starch. The caption reads, “First kiss. First crime.”

Dean/Rory shippers from way back remember the pair shared their first kiss in Doose's Market while Rory held a box of corn starch. Hence: first kiss.

Immediately after Dean planted one on her, Rory ran out of the market and all the way home with the stolen corn starch in her hands. Hence: First crime.

Could this mean Dean and Rory will rekindle their complicated flame? What about Jess? Is that corn starch even edible anymore?

In June, actor David Sutcliffe, who plays Rory's father Christopher, made it clear his TV daughter and her OG Stars Hollow crush wouldn't end up together.

He told USA Today,

I know they're not going to end up together but, Rory and Dean seem like a good couple.

Hmm. OK, well, then this is a PRETTY MISLEADING POST, PEOPLE.

Another clue shared on the show's Insta — an apple on a plate of Pop-Tarts — has some fans speculating Lorelai is pregnant.

These food clues are making everyone hungry, panicked and impatient to return to the Hollow.

We still have a full two months to wait until we're able to binge-watch our way to enlightenment. In the meantime, let's try not to go nuts on the promo-fueled postulation.
