Klum is legendary for her Halloween costumes. Most years, she typically sheds her pretty model persona to get freaky for the holiday. Her looks over the years have included Shrek’s Fiona, Jessica Rabbit, an uncanny ape, an ornate butterfly, and even an older version of herself.
Klum’s husband Tom Kaulitz joined the fray this year with a couple’s costume. He was a fisherman who had Klum as bait on his fishing rod.
Klum is keeping the humor in Halloween. “I just wanted to think outside the box and do something different and I thought we all know a rain worm,” Klum said on the red carpet, according to USA Today. “And I want to put a smile on people's faces...I thought it'd be funny.”
Klum’s Halloween party was likely a welcome reprieve for the German model. Between TV gigs on America’s Got Talent, Making the Cut, and Germany’s Next Top Model, it’s surprising she even has the time to get into a jaw-dropping Halloween costume. Thankfully, she makes the time.
The looks don’t come easy. In 2019, Klum offered Prime Video a view into how her team created her alien look for that year’s Halloween party. She’s yet to give details on how the worm look came to be, but I’m waiting with baited breath. Pun intended.
