The Cast Of 'Jersey Shore' Then And Now Will Make You Feel Old AF – PHOTOS
As someone with the internet, you may have heard that everyone's *favorite* guidos and guidettes from Jersey Shore have been filming a reunion in Seaside Heights.
The cast members have been no strangers to reality television since their debut on Jersey Shore, but this is the first time they have all filmed together since the show's final season on MTV in 2012. So, naturally, we're excited to see the group dynamic again.
Though the cast is the same, I'm sure a lot will be different this time around. Jenni "JWoww" Farley flat-out said in order for a reunion to happen a few things would have to change. She told E! Online in an interview,
I need to be in bed by 9 p.m. I have to take my family and don't let me get white girl wasted so I can't find where my family is. So if you can help me out with those, I'd be down.
The crew's attitude on partying and getting "white girl wasted" isn't the only thing that has changed since we last saw them. That's right, everyone looks different.
As we gear up for what is certain to be an entertaining reunion, let's take a look at how the cast of Jersey Shore has changed since their first season in 2009.
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino
Since coining the iconic term "grenade" on Jersey Shore, The Situation has appeared on a bunch of reality shows including Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, Worst Cooks in America, and his family's own show, The Sorrentinos. Mike has also battled addiction since finishing work on The Jersey Shore in 2012. The reality star has been in and out of rehab for alcohol and prescription drug abuse, but, thankfully, he has been sober for 18 months.
Deena Cortese
Cortese joined the Jersey Shore cast in the show's third season. After the show finished up in 2012, she appeared on Couples Therapy and on Snooki & JWoww. In November 2016, she got engaged to her boyfriend, Chrisopher Buckner. Cortese has stayed out of the spotlight for a while now, and she reportedly works as a dog trainer at The Green Leaf Pet Resort in New Jersey.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
Like his Seaside Heights housemate Pauly D, Ronnie signed on to appear on VH1's reality series Famously Single. There, he met on-again/off-again girlfriend Malika Haqq, Khloé Kardashian's BFF.
"Sammi Sweetheart" Giancola
Since splitting up with her Jersey Shore boo Ronnie and finishing up work on the show in 2012, Sammi Sweetheart has launched her own clothing line, Sweetheart Styles, and began co-hosting the podcast Just Sayin'.
Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio
Since wrapping up work on the final season of Jersey Shore, Pauly D has appeared on his own reality show, The Pauly D Project, and has been working successfully as a DJ in Las Vegas (he currently has a residency at Harrah's Las Vegas). Our favorite guido DJ also appeared on VH1's Famously Single, where he met and started dating former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day. In addition to all this, Pauly is a father! He had a baby girl in 2013.
Vinnie Guadagnino
After leaving Seaside Heights, Vinnie landed guest spots on MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger and 90210. He also hosted his own MTV show, The Show with Vinny, in 2013. Currently, he and his mom appear on a reality travel show called Vinny & Ma Eat America.
Jenni "JWoww" Farley
Like the rest of the Jersey Shore alum, JWoww has been keeping pretty busy since the show's final season. Jenni had four seasons of her own reality TV show with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Snooki & JWoww, and won Season 7 of Worst Cooks in America. In addition to her work on television, JWoww is a mommy. She and her husband Roger Mathews have two children together.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi
Just like her pal JWoww, Snooki has been a busy guidette over the past five years. In addition to starring on Snooki & JWoww, Nicole appeared on Season 17 of Dancing With The Stars and on 2017's The New Celebrity Apprentice. Her TV work aside, Nicole has published five books, married Jionni LaValle, and has had two children since 2012. She and her husband now have their own reality show Nicole & Jionni's Shore Flip, which airs on FYI.
All in all, it seems like the cast that was once full of young party animals has now turned into a cast full of responsible, mature adults. I guess we'll have to tune into the new Jersey Shore reunion to see if they all maintain their adult personas for the cameras this time around.
