Kate Hudson Says This Is What She Eats To Maintain Those Rock-Hard Abs
Move over, Gwyneth Paltrow: These days, it seems Kate Hudson is the celebrity running the wellness industry.
Her book "Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body," out this month, centers on how to live a healthy, happy life.
Her fitness apparel line, Fabletics, is everywhere, and Hudson herself is looking pretty damn awesome.
So, what does this perfectly toned, well-balanced woman eat?
She opens up about that very topic in an interview with SELF magazine.
Other than the fact she doesn't like to eat breakfast -- most important meal of the day, people -- it comes with little surprise Hudson's routine is a healthy one.
She tells SELF,
I've pretty much cut meat out. I don't remember the last time I ate a steak. The hardest thing for me is eating right when I get up, because I don't like to. I'm not one of those people who wakes up hungry. I wake up and I want coffee and even a green juice, but everybody says you've got to eat something, even if it's little. So that's sort of the hardest, but I realize that when I do, I eat less during the day or late at night.
She's also all about snacking -- but in a healthy way. She aims for five small meals per day, including protein shakes and salads.
In more refreshing news, Hudson is most certainly human; she's all about the occasional cheat day.
She admits,
If I want to go out and eat at a restaurant with amazing food, I'll do that, like, once a week where I'm not thinking about it. I want to indulge! I want to do things that are not necessarily healthy sometimes.
Hudson isn't the only fit, healthy celebrity who doesn't mind indulging every now and then.
As Victoria's Secret model Gigi Hadid told Page Six,
The first year I lived in New York I tried a different burger a week to find my favorite burger in New York. I always say, eat clean to stay fit, have a burger to stay sane.
BRB, going to get a burger.
