Kim Kardashian Gets Real About Why She Posts All Those Naked Photos

Kim Kardashian West needs everybody to get off her ass about pictures of her ass, mmkay?

In fact, she's not sure why the world is up in arms over her photos.

Between the nude selfie she posted that prompted Chloë Grace Moretz to speak out (twice) and the speech she gave upon receiving her Break the Internet Webby award (“Nude selfies until I die”), it's pretty obvious how Kimmy K feels about sharing, and she can't understand why anyone cares where or why she posts pictures of her bare skin.

Of her controversial Paper magazine cover and other naked pics, the 35-year-old reality star recently told Kara Swisher's "Recode Decode" podcast,

I truly was baffled that people still cared, some people were outraged because I am a mom, some people were so supportive. I just think it looks good, I am really not trying to cause a reaction… They have seen me naked 500 times!... My personality has never been, 'I'm such a feminist and follow me and be naked.'

The mother of two praised social media not just as a platform to share stunning selfies, but also as a major catalyst to her success.

She shared,

Without social media, I don't know what the lifespan of ['Keeping Up with the Kardashians'] would have been, our careers would be. Twitter I love, I feel like it is my connection with my fans, talk one on one. I write everything, I choose everything, I am just not really a coder, all the technical stuff I don't really do, but I post every word. I find it to be super inauthentic if you were to have someone posting for you… Snapchat, you can be very random and post whatever you want. I feel like you can see my personality the most on Snapchat.

You keep posting whatever you want, Kimmy. Oversharing has never failed you.
