Melissa McCarthy Will Be Joining The 'Gilmore Girls' Reunion After All

In an Instagram post from the April 7 taping of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Melissa McCarthy revealed she will be returning to the "Gilmore Girls" reunion series on Netflix to reprise her role as beloved Sookie St. James.

When reports came out earlier this year that conflicting schedules would prevent McCarthy from making an appearance on the highly-anticipated show, we were all seriously bummed.

But now, thanks to destiny, we can all get super excited to see her return and, inevitably, make the show more amazing.
