Perez Hilton Will Ban The Kardashian Family From His Site For A Week
GOOD! Thank God someone did this.
I was not a Perez Hilton fan until today, and now, I'm the biggest Perez Hilton fan of all time.
The celebrity blogger is giving his blog a week-long “Kardashian Kleanse.”
From August 17 to 21, there will be no mentions of Caitlyn, Kim, Kourtney, Kylie or any other members of the Kardashian empire on Perez Hilton's website.
This is huge. A celebrity blogger not posting stories about the Kardashians is like if Toyota decided it would stop making tires.
It's honestly the bravest move ever, and I firmly expect Aaron Sorkin to draft it into an Academy Award-winning screenplay starring Tommy Lee Jones.
Perez made the announcement on his blog on Tuesday, saying,
It's a blackout! Do U ever feel like there's just TOO MUCH Kardashian news out there????? From August 17-21, you can come here for all of the juiciest entertainment news without having to be bombarded by Kim Kardashian, Caitlyn Jenner, and everyone in between! All Kardashians, Jenners and their boyfriends/husbands/exes! Their kids too!!!
He is also calling on his fellow journalists to join him in his quest to rid the news of all things Kardashian.

This couldn't have come at a better time. With a baby on the way, a potential romance involving Zayn Malik making waves and, literally, just the fact that Instagram exists, it's nearly impossible to escape seeing news about the first family to gain unearned celebrity status.
Just ask John Brown.
Hilton said in lieu of the standard deluge of Kardashian news, his blog will be featuring “daily inspiring stories about amazing women from all around the world!”
BRB, I'm going to be giving my computer screen a standing ovation for the next three hours.
