After Beyoncé broke the Internet with her new album this weekend, there was a lot of speculation around who was the one Bey refers to as "Becky with the good hair" on her track "Sorry."

Prime suspect and fashion designer Rachel Roy just released a statement to PEOPLE claiming her Instagram post was just a joke and she never had an affair with Jay Z.

The statement said,

I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.

If you haven't heard the album yet, you should really get on that because it's amazing. But also, it's pretty obvious Jay Z cheated on his wife with someone, presumably this Becky girl.

Jay's rumored ex Rachel Roy reportedly posted an Instagram shortly after the album dropped where she proudly proclaimed,

Good hair, don't care.

So, it seemed pretty obvious she was Becky, right? The Beyhive certainly thought so because fans immediately went after Rachel for hurting Queen Bey.

Now, however, Rachel says it was all a funny joke. Well, maybe take a few comedy classes, girlfriend, because your timing is waaaay off.
