I’m seeing double.
Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava Phillippe never fail to turn heads on the red carpet. In addition to being total style icons, the pair are each other’s doppelgängers. Just scroll through the slideshow to see the resemblance for yourself.
Ava has accompanied her mother on the red carpet since she was a kid. For example, when Reese received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010, Ava and her brother Deacon Phillippe were by her side.
In 2015, Ava and Deacon also supported their mother when she received the American Cinematheque Award at the organization’s fundraising gala that year.
The following year, Reese attend the red carpet premiere of her animated film, Sing, alongside Ava, Deacon, her youngest son, Tennessee James, and her husband Jim Toth.
Reese and Ava have also attended several events as a duo. Each time they stand next to each other, their resemblance is clear. I mean, look at them here at the 2017 Los Angeles premiere of Reese’s show Big Little Lies. Ava could’ve totally played a younger Reese in the series.
To celebrate her clothing line Draper James’ collaboration with the luxury fashion retailer Net-a-Porter in 2017, Reese and Ava modeled clothing from the collection.
In August 2017, Ava and her mother attended the premiere of Reese’s rom-com Home Again. Ava opted for an animal-print lace dress, while Reese wore a red-and-black number.
Ava is seriously the most supportive daughter ever. Later in 2017, she witnessed her mother win the 2017 Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited Series for Big Little Lies.
Just a few weeks later, Reese and Ava were seen together at ‘Elle’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in Beverly Hills. The two matched in black looks.
While many know Ava as Reese and Ryan Phillippe’s daughter, she’s also an influencer and model. Through the years, she’s collaborated with brands like Beyoncé’s Ivy Park and Pat McGrath Labs.
Reese is open about how much she loved her daughter. “Ava is so down-to-earth. She wants to do great things in the world,” she said in a November 2021 interview with InStyle.
Ava is also proud of her parents. According to Us Weekly, when asked earlier this year about what her life would've looked like if she didn’t have famous parents, Ava said she “wouldn’t change a thing” because her parents “get to do what they love.”
Witherspoon’s relationship with Ava is so sweet, and I can’t wait to see them slay even more red carpet events in the future.
