Here's All The Selling Sunset Drama To Remember Before Watching Season 5

Let's take a look back at the mess.

With Season 5 on deck, it’s time to recap Selling Sunset Season 4. Luckily (or perhaps unluckily), Season 4 almost entirely revolved around Christine Quinn’s beef with Emma Hernan over their shared ex, so it’s pretty easy to follow.

Netflix

Christine insisted her animosity toward Emma was valid because Emma had been “the other woman” when Christine was engaged to Peter. However, Davina Potratz and Mary Fitzgerald, who were close with Christine, could not corroborate all the details in Christine’s wild story.

Netflix

Christine was left with just a few allies: newcomer Vanessa Villela and Amanza Smith, who continued to advocate for Christine throughout the season.

As the season progressed, Mary got closer with Chrishell Stause and Emma, cementing her distance from Christine. When Chrishell got upset that Christine was talking about her in the press, Mary was there to comfort her.

Netflix

Interviews aren’t the only place where Christine got in to trouble in Season 4. Emma said Christine was sending her nasty DMs from fake accounts, taunting her about their shared ex and inquiring about her love life.

Netflix

Vanessa attempted to help Christine by trying to get to know her and encouraged her to stop hurting people. She even went as far as trying to set Christine up with her life coach, but nothing seemed to work and Christine continued her shady behavior.

Netflix

Heather and Christine were already on the rocks at the start of Season 4 because of Christine’s public comments about Heather’s relationship with Tarek El Moussa, but Christine doubled down in Season 4, calling Heather “spineless” like a “jellyfish.”

Netflix

All of the drama came to a boiling point at Jason’s party in the last episode. Heather and Chrishell both wanted an apology from Christine but they never got one. Once Heather realized that Christine wouldn’t apologize, she stormed off with Tarek.

Netflix

Season 4 ended with Mary’s plea for Christine to do better, but before the credits rolled, audiences were left with Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell kissing. If the Season 5 trailer is any hint, the newest season could have more romance in store — and even more Christine drama.
