Taylor Swift Met Her Godson For The First Time, And It Was Adorable (Photos)

Singer/songwriter/model/girl power icon/cat enthusiast Taylor Swift just added yet another title to her already impressive resume: godmother.

On July 16, the singer's pal Jaime King and her husband, Kyle Newman, welcomed their second son, Leo Thames.

Their first son, James Knight, was born in October 2013.

Swift, who was appointed godmother months ago, met the new baby on Tuesday and shared the special moment with her followers on Instagram in two beautiful photos.

In one photo, Swift cradles the newborn while his mother looks on, smiling.

The other, a close-up, shows the baby's tiny hand wrapped around Swift's finger, and in the caption, Taylor included the fitting opening lyrics from her 2010 ballad “Never Grow Up."

She wrote,

Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight...

King and her husband also shared a couple photos of little Leo on their Instagram accounts.

As for Swift? She's a woman of many hats, but I have a feeling godmother will be one she wears best.

Jaime King introduced baby Leo to the world last week with this beautiful Instagram.

In the caption for this photo, taken yesterday, Swift wrote, "Meeting my boy."

Even though it was posted only 17 hours ago, this special picture has 1.5 million likes.
