First Teaser For ‘American Horror Story’ Season 7 Will Give You Serious Nightmares

As we're getting closer and closer to the fall premiere of "American Horror Story" Season 7, Ryan Murphy is finally giving us our first peek at what the political season is going to look like.

And honestly, it looks like it might be the most terrifying season yet!

Ryan Murphy gave fans a horrifying teaser of what's to come in the new season of "AHS," which will be based on the 2016 presidential election. The showrunner posted a sketch of a demented looking elephant face on Instagram, captioning the photo "American Horror Story Season 7 tease."

Assuming that's meant to be a mask, I'm getting some "Purge" vibes from it (especially since "The Purge: Election Year" did just come out last year). But it might not even be a mask at all! Knowing Ryan Murphy, it could just as easily be some new demonic monster.

One thing that is for sure is the political overtone, as the elephant head seems to clearly be a reference to the Republican party. We'll have to wait to see just what statement Murphy is making with this when the show premieres.

Hopefully, this first look means we'll be getting even more info about the mysterious new season pretty soon.

For right now, all we really know is it will star Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd and Billy Eichner in undisclosed roles and that none of them will be playing Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton.

Apparently, the first episode will take place on the night of the 2016 election, and then a separate horrible thing will happen to the characters that will color the rest of the season.

And although Murphy said he doesn't have actors to play Trump or Clinton, televised clips of the two candidates will still pop up on TV screens.
