It was a big night for the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso at the 2021 Emmy Awards. The comedy series held a chunk of the ceremony’s nominations with 20, and quickly won the night’s first two awards for Best Supporting Actor and Actress in a Comedy Series (Brett Goldstein and Hannah Waddingham took those home, respectively). While fans were excited for the show’s big awards, the Ted Lasso cast reactions to the 2021 Emmy wins were the sweetest part of the whole ceremony, and showed just how close the Ted Lasso team is.

Hannah Waddingham won for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Fans noticed Juno Temple, who was nominated in the same category, cheering on her co-star.

Juno Temple, I swear to god, if I could break off one of her arms and give it to you.

In her speech, Waddingham mentioned Sudeikis, saying, “Jason, you changed my life with this… I’m so privileged to work with you.” After getting off stage, she immediately hugged him.

Waddingham and Temple had hilarious reactions to Brett Goldstein’s uncensored speech after winning Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Phil Dunster, who plays Jamie Tartt, immediately stood up and cheered on Goldstein’s win. While Tartt and Goldein’s Roy Kent often fight in the series, it’s nice to see how adorably excited Dunster was for his teammate.

To my teammates that I'm nominated with and all my team ... This cast made me sick, they're so good.

The series very own Ted Lasso (played by Sudeikis) ended up taking home the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award. The whole team was excited, but fans at home noticed how excited Waddingham was with her hands in the air.

This show is about family. This show is about mentors and teachers. This show is about teammates, and I wouldn't be here without those three things in my life.
