The kitchen has a language of its own, and FX’s The Bear taught it to the masses. Now, fans who ate up the deliciously stressful culinary series can’t stop speaking like line cooks, according to these The Bear memes. Heard, chef!

Pretty much every other line in The Bear is one chef yelling important kitchen information at another, and the phrases have seeped into fans’ brains.

Making dinner just got a lot more verbal.

We’re all chefs now.

Family dinner just turned into meal prep for a restaurant’s lunch rush.

The power of “Thank you, chef” has even become a coping mechanism for some people.

When you want to scream, just say “Thank you, chef” instead.

Real line cooks are resonating with the vocabulary as well.

And now people are viewing restaurants very differently after learning the lingo.

Of course, the vocab has already made its way into dirty talk.

Basically, chef-talk has become the new way of life for The Bear fans.
