Tristan Thompson is no stranger to public scandals, but he’s in serious hot water this time around. On Jan. 3, the Sacramento Kings athlete confirmed he received a positive paternity test and is the father of a child with former fitness trainer Maralee Nichols.

The problem? As fans know, he was successfully co-parenting his daughter True with ex Khloé Kardashian, further complicating his dating life and history of cheating scandals. Fans are still trying to wrap their heads around the whole ordeal, and Twitter wasn’t easy on him.

"Khloé, you don't deserve this," Thompson wrote in a Jan. 3 apology post on his IG story. Despite his detailed apology to Kardashian, fans weren’t having it.

Thompson went on to say he’s sorry for all of the collective times he’s hurt his ex. "You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he wrote.

Fans scoffed at Thompson’s Instagram apology after seeing so many in the past. As fans know, he also infamously kissed Kardashian’s family friend Jordyn Woods in 2019.

Khloé and Tristan have been on and off for years, but fans think this should be the last straw.

“I have the utmost respect and love for you,” Thompson wrote. “Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."

Twitter doesn't seem to think Thompson will ever change his ways.

Fans are even joking that Thompson is now more famous for his infidelity than his NBA career.

Kardashian has yet to respond to Thompson’s apology, and fans hope it stays that way.

Of course, the couple will still be co-parenting True, their daughter, so it will be interesting to see how things play out from here. However, it doesn’t seem like this will be an easy fix.
