According to the song, we’re not supposed to talk about Bruno, but fans can’t stop talking about the performance of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto at the 2022 Oscars. The performance was *stacked* with stars.

In addition to the cameo performances, the song also featured some of the original cast of Encanto , including Stephanie Beatriz, Diane Guerrero, and Mauro Castillo

But, Megan Thee Stallion surprising everyone by popping up in the middle of the audience really made fans want to talk about Bruno even more.

Fans just weren’t expecting knocking this musical crossover off their 2022 bingo cards.

Megan’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” rap included meta-references to the Oscars, which, suffice to say, is not part of the original Disney version.

Some fans had trouble singing along to this new “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” rendition.

Other fans were flat-out unhappy not to hear the usual lyrics to the song that they’ve come to know and love.

With all the additions to the song, some fans didn’t even consider the song we heard on the 2022 Oscars the actual song.

Some fans are “Bruno” purists and really missed the original version.

Since this performance was a new remixed version of the song that was all about the Oscars, in a way, we still don’t really talk about Bruno.
