Here’s What ‘The Bachelorette’ Tickle Monster Really Does

If you've been keeping up with Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette, you're well acquainted with contestant Jonathan, who calls himself a "Tickle Monster."

Seriously, I cringe every time I write it, read it, or hear it out loud.

But who is Jonathan really? And is he as creepy as his nickname suggests?

It turns out, Jonathan Treece is actually a doctor from New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He keeps his Instagram (@newsmyrnabeast) private, but his bio identifies himself as "Dr Tickle Monster." Staying true to brand...

The 31-year-old has been married before and describes himself as "easy to get along with, funny, driven!" He also revealed he lost his virginity to his ex-wife.

Initially, host Chris Harrison defended the doctor's Bachelorette job title, saying,

We figure when we have fun with these labels, it's not what they are, it's kind of who they are... When you wake up Tuesday morning after the initial episode you're not going to say, 'Who's that doctor?' You're going to say 'tickle monster' and all of your friends will know who you mean.

Yeah, Chris, we all know who you mean.

For those of you who want to know a little bit more about the side of Jonathan that isn't designed to be memorable on the internet, I dug up a little more information.

Jonathan works at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, where he practices family medicine.

He attended medical school at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. So all of that seems pretty legit.

However, on the third episode of the season, Jonathan whipped out a pair of giant hands, which didn't exactly help out his image with the Twitterverse.

He then got chosen for the group date on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and his dancing was... interesting.

We may all be over the "Tickle Monster," but Rachel doesn't seem to be yet. Only time will tell if he can win her over.

He would definitely be the first "Tickle Monster" to win The Bachelorette.
