Bride's Dad Stops Wedding So Stepdad Can Also Walk Daughter Down Aisle (Photos)

by Kaylin Pound

Weddings can really bring on the waterworks.

If sitting through a normal ceremony is enough to make you teary-eyed, you might want to break out the Kleenex because Brittany Peck's wedding may make you sob harder than "The Notebook."

Shortly after Brittany and her dad, Todd Bachman, began their walk down the aisle, Todd stopped the wedding to do the most adorable thing in wedding history.

He ran back to grab Brittany's stepdad because he thought both of her fathers should share this special moment.

If you somehow managed to keep it together up to this point, your eyes will definitely spring a leak once you see the look this stepdad had on his face.

Luckily, Ohio-based wedding photographer Delia D Blackburn was there to capture the whole tear-jerking chain of events on camera.

She later posted the photos on Facebook. Her caption read,

Todd Bachman, father of the bride, brought his daughter to the beginning of the aisle… he stopped the procession while people were confused at his actions and he walked up to his daughter's stepfather. Todd reached out his hand and grabbed Brittany's stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together. NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony… including me!

The heartfelt photos went viral, and Blackburn's post racked up over 1,000,000 likes from teary-eyed fans.

As Todd Bachman walked his daughter down the aisle, he surprised the entire crowd when he stopped the wedding ceremony...

If that's not enough to melt your heart, the two were later seen sharing a sentimental moment with their arms around each other.

This daddies' girl certainly is one lucky woman.
