These Insanely Cute, Fluffy Sea Slugs Look Just Like Miniature Bunnies (Photos)
by Kaylin Pound
The word "cute" probably isn't the first adjective that comes to mind when you're describing a slug.
That is, unless you happen to spot a Jorunna parva slug while swimming off the coast of Japan.
I know, it sounds hard to believe.
However, these sea critters actually resemble baby bunny rabbits more than your average slimy slugs.
Recently, Twitter users in Japan lost their minds over these snuggly looking "sea bunnies."
But, you can't really blame people for going batsh*t crazy over these fluffy fellas because, let's face it, they're pretty damn adorable.
Take a look at the pictures below to see these precious slugs.
This might look like a miniature rabbit...
...but don't let the bouncing bunny ears fool you.
These aquatic creatures are actually slugs.
They are called Jorunna parva sea slugs.
The precious sea slugs look like mini Peter Cottontails...
...due to their furry appearances and rhinophores -- chemosensory organs that aid in mobility, allow them to smell chemicals in the water and look uncannily similar to a pair of rabbit ears.
And these guys are making quite a splash on the social media scene.
People in Japan just can't seem to get enough of these cuddly creatures.
