Forget about piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris -- Starbucks has a new drink you can sip on while basking in the sun this spring.

Sure, it doesn't have any alcohol in it, but it'll certainly give you a nice caffeine buzz.

The tasty new beverage is called the Toasted Coconut Cold Brew, and it's so tropical you won't even need a beach vacation this year.

Starbucks added the icy drink to its menu on Tuesday, April 4, and it's available at select Starbucks throughout the United States and Canada.

With every sip of the newest addition to the Cold Brew menu, you'll be transported to a world of sun, sand and palm trees.

Why? Because it tastes like coconuts -- that's why.

The tropical flavor was inspired by jalao, a sweet treat found in the Dominican Republic that's made with coconut shavings and honey... aka summery bliss.

Starbucks had the genius idea to add the jalao-inspired flavors to its Nariño 70 Cold Brew, which is its infamous blend of Latin American and African coffees crafted daily in small batches and slow-steeped for 20 hours.

To create the new Toasted Coconut Cold Brew, it lightly sweetened the Nariño 70 with coconut syrup and added a splash of coconut milk that gives the beverage a peaceful, wave-like appearance.

Christal Canzler, Starbucks senior beverage developer, commented on the tropical drink,

We really liked the simplicity of the coconut and honey flavors of jalao, we knew the toasted coconut flavors would go really well with the inherent sweet, chocolate notes of our Cold Brew. Pairing it with a splash of coconutmilk gave it just the right amount of refreshing creaminess.

It sounds delicious, right? It's basically the beach in your coffee cup.

I don't know about you, but I'm definitely going to grab a cup when the weather gets warmer and pretend I'm lounging in the tropics.

The Toasted Coconut Cold Brew will be available for a limited time only.
