Starbucks' New Holiday Frappuccino Is So Festive It's Actually Disgusting
Everyone knows the best part about winter is getting to sip on all sorts Starbucks drinks that capture the glorious flavors of the season.
If you're starting to get bored of red cups filled with gingerbread lattes and frosty eggnog frapps, I have some good, pretty damn delicious, news for you.
Apparently, Starbucks is getting a new festive frapp just in time for Christmas!
Feast your eyes on the Fruitcake Frappuccino.
Now I know what you're probably thinking: Yes, fruitcakes are the holiday gift no one ever asked for.
However, Starbucks has somehow found a way to revamp this dreaded dessert and turn it into a seriously delicious drink that's festive AF.
If you're wondering what's in Starbucks' new holiday frappuccino, let me fill you in.
The fruit cake frapp is basically a Hazelnut Crème Frappuccino blended beverage that has dried fruit and cinnamon in it, and is topped with a heaping pile of fluffy whipped cream, decorated in gooey dots of caramel and finished off with a sprinkle of matcha.
Yep, if you ask me, this decadent drink sounds a lot better than the shitty fruitcake your neighbor always seems to re-gift to you every year.
However, unlike your neighbor's crappy cake, these sweet sips won't last until the end of all entirety.
Starbucks will only be dishing out these limited-edition drinks from today, December 15, until Sunday, December 18.
Plus, if you happen to be a Starbucks Rewards member, you'll be glad to know you'll also get an early Christmas present with your Fruitcake Frappuccino.
That's right. Starbucks will be giving members a complimentary ugly sweater beverage cozy with the purchase of a Fruitcake Frapp.
So yeah, throw on your fugliest sweater, run over to Starbucks and get a Fruitcake Frappuccino that's wearing the same outfit as you before these holiday treats are gone for the rest of the season.
