Lifestyle — Women In Their 20s Reveal The Best Advice From Their Moms
by Kaylin Pound

There's something truly special about the relationship we have with our mothers.

I think it's safe to say that there's no one in the entire world who loves and cares about us more than our moms.

Whether it's teaching us how to take our first steps, checking the closet for monsters before tucking us into bed, being our designated shoulder to cry on, or being the only one who believes in our dreams, our moms are the ones who have guided us through all of life's obstacles and stuck by our sides through thick and thin.

Plus, they know how much of a pain in the ass we can be and love us anyway.

If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that your mom really does know best.

Yep, I know, as a kid you never want to listen to your mother's constant reminders.

But as you grow older, you slowly begin to realize that your mom wasn't telling you to do the same things over and over again just for the hell of it.

She was simply trying to pass some of her womanly wisdom on to you and, let's be real, you know damn well that nine out of 10 times her "crazy" advice actually turned out to be pretty spot on.

Whether it's expressing a simple motto like, "Never leave the house without lipstick" or imparting some important values like, "Work hard and be nice to everyone," there are all sorts of things we can learn from these wonderful women.

So, in honor of Mother's Day, we decided to share a few pieces of solid advice we've gotten from our beloved moms over the years.
