Instead Of A Black Car, Uber Will Let You Request A Yacht For One Day

Getting tired of Escalades and S550s? Some may call you high maintenance, but I think you're just ready for a change.

Lucky for you, Uber has something special in the works. The only catch? You'll have to pack your bags and head to Dubai! According to Mashable, the on-demand service giant is introducing UberYACHT, a weekend-long event in the City of Gold.

Uber General Manager Chris Free recently revealed,

At Uber, we are constantly innovating our services. We want to be more than just a leading global technology app, we want to provide experiences at the push of a button.

If cruising around on a yacht like a true boss isn't an experience, I'm not sure what is.

UberYACHT will be a four-hour experience priced at $82 per person, which starts off at Dubai Marina. A guest DJ will be in the house providing all the vibes. Oh, and did we mention unlimited drinks?

In a recent interview with Khaleej Times, a UAE-based publication, Free says,

At the heart of what we do is transportation. And we try and find fun, different, engaging experiences for our customers. What started as Uber CHOPPER with the F1 race in Abu Dhabi last year saw such a great response that we decided to keep it on a little longer. The way Dubai works means that we can keep doing fun things like this, and a yacht was the next obvious choice.

If you happen to be in Dubai on Saturday, April 30, you'd be a fool not to schedule a yacht ride 2 pm to 6 pm!

On the off-chance you're not in Dubai, no worries; the company will soon be announcing a slew of other special experiences for thrill-seeking riders.
