As we near the finale of Only Murders in the Building Season 2, I’m sure you’re left with lots of questions: Is Alice Bunny’s murderer? Who is Becky Butler? And, most importantly, what does the food taste like at The Pickle Diner? While I can’t address the first two, I can answer the third, because the OMITB pop-up experience in NYC has an IRL Pickle Diner with a full menu of dips.
The first item on the menu consists of yellow beets, turnips, carrots, red onions, bell peppers, cauliflower, hummus, and pita triangles. The veggies were sour and savory and the hummus was deliciously creamy.
_____
Your standard chips and guac sitch.

Along with the crunch of the crostini, the chutney had an unexpected sweetness that knocked me back for a second, but I ended up enjoying.
_____
As someone who’s not a fan of chunky salsa (don’t @ me), I was a fan of the smoothness of sauce. Would’ve been even better if it had a bit more spice, IMO.
_____
If you like the salty and briny taste of olives, you’ll appreciate this appetizer.
_____
This was my favorite snack, by far. The honey mustard was sweet and tangy; the brioche was soft and rich. Combined with the turkey and brie? *Chef’s kiss.*
_____
You can’t go wrong with a roasted red pepper spread and rosemary focaccia.
_____
Of course, the pièce de résistance at a place called The Pickle Diner was the pickle selection. You’ve got your sweet, you’ve got your sour, you’ve got your savory. 10 out of 10, no notes.

The pop-up also includes hidden gems and easter eggs only true fans of Only Murders in the Building would notice. You can even work on Mabel’s mural with Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty brand. If you want to see the Arconia in real life, visit feverup.com for more details.
The event space is open on Friday, Aug. 19 through Saturday, Aug. 20, with the Only Murders in the Building Season 2 finale premiering on Hulu on Tuesday, Aug. 23, a 3 a.m. ET.
