Combining timeless glamor with a breathtaking spirit of excellence, the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts are committed to delivering exquisite experiences. The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya is no exception.

The resort’s background

Designed by Mexican architectural firm Edmonds International, with interiors by Chapi Chapo Design, the St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya features an exceptional circular exterior design that was inspired by the Pleiades constellation, which results in unrivaled ocean views from almost every vantage point.

The Kanai Resort’s creation was inspired by the neighboring 320-acre nature reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Sian Ka’an Reserve, and it was designed with a minimal construction footprint aimed at protecting the environment.

The property is suspended above a mangrove forest, with different elements of the hotel connected by elevated walkways. Guests are instantly transported to the magic of Kanai with a multi-story, open-air water installation that leads into the main lobby and with floor-to-ceiling views of the mangrove forest, which gives way to lush gardens and an outdoor lawn that has access to two miles of each.
