Money Comes And Goes: Why Passion Should Be The Way You Lead Your Life

by Jose Llorens

We are in control of our own lives. We set our own limitations in this world — don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. We choose what we can and can’t do. Sure, you can always find reoccurring excuses that make it nearly impossible to fulfill your goals and aspirations, but in reality, everything we can conceive is attainable. Anything is possible once you decide it is.

It will always be a struggle to get where you want to be, but every step of that meaningful journey is worth it. There will be times in your life when you'll stop and say, "I give up" or "I quit," and that's when something great is about to happen if you overcome the obstacle in the way. Embrace the adversity that makes you want to give up because those obstacles also enable you to think back and remember what compelled you to start in the first place.

Remain positive and keep your head high because misfortune is often a disguise for opportunity. If you believe in your dreams, and there is something about which you are passionate, then pursue it. At the end of the day, you owe it to yourself.

Think about what gets you going. Now, go out and start doing it.  If you haven’t yet found your passion, take each day to search for it. Forget about the monetary incentives and prestigious recognition and pursue the fulfillment of chasing your own dreams. There are millions of affluent individuals in this world, and the majority of them will inform you know that being wealthy doesn't necessarily lead directly to happiness.

The people who are truly successful are those who follow their dreams and are passionate about what they do every day of their lives. If you choose a job that you don't love for the sole purpose of financial stability, you'll end up miserable at some point. Whether you want to be a writer, a filmmaker or a photographer, it doesn’t matter, so long as you are living a meaningful and happy life. No one can take away passion, but money comes and goes.

Surrounding yourself with people who have positive outlooks on life and support your actions will help your dreams become a reality. Nothing seems to matter when you're chasing a dream. Disregard all fear of failure, and continue with a definite purpose. Failure only occurs when you accept it. Never settle.
