On July 25, Unilever announced it was discontinuing the Choco Taco, 39 after the Klondike dessert was created in 1983.

Fans are already missing the ice cream truck and Taco Bell staple, but these memes about the Choco Taco being discontinued loving roast the not-so-beloved treat.

Known for its folded waffle cone, vanilla ice cream filling, chocolate coating, and peanut toppings, the Choco Taco was a nostalgic treat for many, but word of its cancellation have ice cream fans realizing the dessert taco may have been a better idea in concept than in execution.

According to the Choco Taco website, demand for other Klondike products was one of the reasons why the Choco Taco got the boot.

A moment of silence for the ice cream truck snack you always thought about getting... but never did.

Is there something I could’ve done? Besides buying a Choco Taco, of course.

If you’re upset about the discontinuation of the Choco Taco, @RoyWoodJr. accepts the blame.

Even though the ice cream bite was made with a taco-shaped waffle cone, the chocolate coating often took away from the cone’s crunchiness, resulting in a less-than-perfect taco treat.

Will I miss the Choco Taco, or will I just miss seeing the Choco Taco on the ice cream truck?

Let’s be honest: Snoballs are way more damaging to society than Choco Tacos.

Clearly, some people will remember the Choco Taco differently than others.
