Good news: The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have been unveiled and they boast awesome features like wireless headphones and water resistance.
Bad news: You probably won't be able to get your hands on one. Not on Friday, at least.
Apple's latest cell phone iteration is hitting the shelves on Friday, September 16, as insiders previously predicted.
But the iPhone 7 Plus has sold out in every color, and you won't be able to find the iPhone 7 in jet black, either.
On top of all this, there isn't a huge amount of iPhone 7 models to go around in the other colors.
It's because so many Apple fans have already snapped them up online via pre-orders.
A spokesperson for Apple told Mashable,
Beginning Friday, limited quantities of iPhone 7 in silver, gold, rose gold, and black will be available for walk-in customers at Apple retail stores. During the online pre-order period, initial quantities of iPhone 7 Plus in all finishes and iPhone 7 in jet black sold out and will not be available for walk-in customers. Availability at partner locations for all finishes may vary and we recommend checking directly with them. We sincerely appreciate our customers' patience as we work hard to get the new iPhone into the hands of everyone who wants one as quickly as possible.
Damn you, Apple! You giveth, and you taketh away.
