The iPhone 8's Exact Price Was Leaked And It'll Destroy Your Hopes And Dreams
Were you planning to get a new iPhone 8 when Apple decides to release it?
You should really start saving up for it... like two months ago.
Some information from Apple apparently leaked, giving us hints as to what the new Apple products will be in 2017 and what we can expect from them.
This newest leak included information about new versions of the iPhone.
There will apparently be three new iPhones released in 2017, according to Nikkei. Two of them are going to be new versions of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. One of them is going to be the brand new iPhone 8.
The iPhone 8 is reportedly going to have an OLED (I don't know, some sort of new version of display) and will be 5.8 inches (the iPhone 7 Plus is 5.5 inches, so Apple is apparently still not designing with women's hands in mind).
But the biggest news from the leak is the price of the new iPhone 8.
The upcoming iPhone 8 will cost a startling $1,000, at the least, according to KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo.
For contrast, the iPhone 7 cost $649 when it was released last fall.
So, yes, this is a big price increase from previous years. That's sure to cost quite a bit for those in need of a new phone -- and in desperate need of the newest new phone, for whatever reason.
Other rumors have been swirling about the iPhone 8. For example, it might have a strange new way to charge. The iPhone 8 may also have an odd new rolling screen, which is totally different from previous models.
Of course, it's going to be a long time before we know what the iPhone 8 will actually feature, given that Apple typically doesn't release new items until the fall of each year.
But it's fun to speculate. And information about the high price is useful if you were really, really planning on getting the new iPhone 8 ASAP. Build your budget and start saving now, guys!
