These Idiots Got Tricked Into Thinking Their iPhones Are iPhone 7s

Even though Apple's iPhone 7 doesn't officially come out until September 16, the Jet Black version is already sold out after pre-sale opened up Friday morning.

That should give you a good idea of just how fucking excited people are to get their hands on Apple's latest iPhone. It should also make you realize how gullible people can become when faced with the prospect of getting an iPhone 7.

Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was banking on the desperation and madness surrounding the impending release of the iPhone 7 when he took to the streets of Los Angeles to trick people into thinking their old phones were actually brand new iPhone 7s.

People, man.

As you can see in the video above, Kimmel's crew were able to fool iPhone user after iPhone user just by cleaning off their old iPhones and putting them in new cases.

Speaking on why he was so confident he'd be able to deceive folks, Kimmel said,

It's not coming out until September 16, but most people don't know that. Most people hear about the announcement and they assume they can just get it right away.

Unsurprisingly, Kimmel was able to convince everyone in the above video they were looking at a smoother, lighter, sleeker, thinner and faster phone. Watch the video above and just be glad you're not that much of a shill.
