Colors

The most appealing factor of Kim K’s Beats are the three neutral colors it comes in — Moon, Dune, and Earth. The AirPods Pro only come in white, as do all the other AirPods models.

Price

But: Kim K’s Beats are a bit easier on your wallet, at $199.99 compared to AirPods Pros at $249.

Battery

Both earbuds provide the same 24 hours of listening time with a fully charged case. However, Kim K’s Beats comes in with a longer single-charge listening time of six hours, compared to AirPods Pros’ four and a half hours.

Fast charging capabilities means five minutes in the case will give both earbuds an hour of use. Talking over the phone will drain your AirPods Pro faster with 18 hours of talk time. Kim K’s Beats doesn't specify if talking uses more battery than listening does.

Design

The distinct wingtip design of the Beats Fit Pro makes sure it won’t fall out during workouts. The earbuds are stored flat in the case, whereas AirPods Pros are upright in the case. Both have three silicone eartip size options for you to find the right fit.

It’s all in the details. The stems of the AirPods Pro have sensors to let you switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode. The Beats don’t have that feature. But both have vents to improve comfort and relieve pressure.

Sound

Kim K’s Beats are equipped with an advanced digital processor, plus Spatial Audio and head tracking adjust sound as you move for a multi-dimensional listening experience. AirPods Pros have next-level noise cancellation and use Adaptive EQ to tune music to the shape of the ear.

Noise Cancellation

Both sets of earbuds have Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode to allow in outside sound. AirPods Pros have an additional Conversation Boost to help you hear the person you’re talking to in a noisy environment.

Water Resistance

No competition here, both earbuds are sweat and water resistant with a rating of IPX4. If you’re looking for something with a greater water resistance, try the Samsung Galaxy Buds2Pro or Buds Pro.

Size & Weight

The AirPods Pros are ever-so-slightly lighter, with each earbud weighing 5.4 grams compared to Kim K’s Beats at 5.6 grams per bud. The case of the AirPods Pro is almost half the size and 10 grams lighter, making the AirPods Pro lighter overall.

Overall

All in all, Kim K’s Beats are winning in style, color, price, and battery life. AirPods Pro certainly have incredible sound quality and noise cancellation. But if you want to spend less without sacrificing the benefits of wireless earbuds, Kim K’s Beats are a solid option.
