This might be where we all have to re-examine the Pokémon Go craze.
In a video that was posted on Friday morning, a crowd of people are shown losing their ever-loving minds once they notice a rare Pokémon appear in the middle of Central Park.
The Pokémon that appeared, according to the person who recorded the video, was a Vaporeon, which was apparently worthy of causing a scene that was absolutely insane.
It's not hard to figure out why a Vaporeon is a rare commodity. A Vaporean is one of the eight evolved forms of an Eevee. That makes all of the evolved forms valuable, because, well, math -- if you want all eight, that means you have to catch a lot of Eevees, and that's before getting into what you have to do to get the specific evolution you're aiming for.

But on this occasion, one just appeared out of the blue, and it was apparently worth people getting out of their cars to march in unison. What a time to be alive.
