Just because it isn't Thursday doesn't mean Hillary Clinton can't post a heartfelt #TBT about her man.
The 68-year-old Democratic presidential candidate took to Twitter to wish 70-year-old Bill Clinton a happy birthday in the sweetest way.
Hillary Clinton decided to dig up an old throwback photo of her and Bill to share with her loyal 8.38 million Twitter followers.
Isn't this just adorable?
The photo was taken on the couple's special wedding day on October 11, 1975. Now THIS is a throwback photo, people -- no filter needed!
In addition to her cute Twitter post, Hillary took to the social platform last year to express her love for Bill Clinton with this tweet.
According to US Weekly, the classic photo shows Hillary Clinton sporting a curly 'do and wearing a white gown designed by Jessica McClintock.
Bill, on the other hand, wore a red necktie and a sharp suit. Lookin' good, Clintons!
So, what was life like BEFORE Hillary and Bill got hitched? In a past interview with the magazine, Hillary revealed,
Bill Clinton proposed to me twice before I said yes.
TWICE?! I guess that means Hillary was playing a bit of hard-to-get with ole Billy, huh?
During his epic speech at the Democratic National Convention this year, Bill Clinton explained how he finally convince Hillary to tie the knot with him, saying,
One day I was driving her to the airport to fly back to Chicago when we passed this little brick house that had a 'For Sale' sign on it and she said, 'Boy, that's a pretty house.' So I took a big chance. I bought the house. My mortgage was $175 a month. When she came back, I picked her up and said, 'Remember that house you liked? While you were gone, I bought it; you have to marry me now.' We were married in that little house… I married my best friend.
Isn't that just special? I'm sure he was really happy when she finally said yes... Perhaps happier than when he was at the DNC playing with balloons.
