Twitter Had An Obama Therapy Sesh Bonding Over Things They'll Miss About Him
President Obama has less than 100 days left in the White House.
With Election Day roughly three weeks away and Obama's presidency coming to a close, it's difficult to avoid reflecting on the past eight years.
The president is not perfect, and there are certainly many things he's said and done that are worthy of criticism.
But it's hard not to admire the thoughtfulness he's exhibited throughout his tenure, and he's arguably brought an immense level of dignity to the office of the presidency.
Not to mention, the dude just has a lot of swag.
POTUS might not be out of office yet, but it seems as though people are already starting to miss him.
This is why I started the hashtag #ImGoingToMissObamaBecause as I wanted to provide people with an opportunity to come together and express themselves about how his presidency had an impact on them.
The tweets that emerged out of this were an amazing mixture of emotional, hilarious and downright inspiring.
It appears the nostalgia surrounding the Obama era is already very strong.
Michelle Obama appears to be the top reason people are going to miss the president, which is completely understandable.
Michelle's husband is a self-declared feminist, and people clearly appreciate that.
He's also always strived to make people of many different backgrounds feel welcome...
And he knows that love is love.
People love how the 44th president handled the haters...

And everyone is going to miss his sense of humor.
Mainly, people seem to appreciate the mixture of intelligence, class and compassion he brought to the job.
And have you seen him with children?
The 2016 presidential election is also reminding people why they're going to miss him.
The consensus is clear: POTUS is a very chill dude.
Thanks, Obama.
