Trump's Son Falling Asleep During His Victory Speech Is Election's Best Meme Yet
It was a late night for politics, and Donald Trump didn't deliver his victory speech until roughly 3 am in New York City after becoming our President-elect.
During his speech, the crowd was rambunctious. They applauded the nominee and chanted "USA, USA, USA."
During the celebration, Donald Trump's 10-year-old son remained silent and indifferent on stage next to his victorious father, and it was kind of hilarious.
Poor Barron Trump looked as if he was going to pass out at any given moment while his father was speaking, and Twitter went wild.
Can we blame him, though? He's 10 years old! Staying awake past 9 pm was a small victory when I was his age. If I made it to 3 am, I'd consider myself a goddamn champion.
Twitter users immediately pointed out how he acted during Trump's speech. He was swaying back and forth, rolling his eyes during the victory speech.
We get it, Barron. It was way past your bedtime.
"We are all Barron Trump."
"Current mood: #BarronTrump."
#MakeAmericaSleepAgain.
He's looking tired AF.
Barron Trump was the only good thing in the speech.
Get him to bed.
The kid needs a Red Bull.
Poor Barron Trump.
"Good parenting is not his policy."
He can't even keep his eyes open.
All he cares about is going to sleep.
His eyes are making ME tired. Sheesh, Barron.
Barron Trump obviously should have taken a nap before the big night, but I can understand his excitement about the election (or lack of it) making that a little tough.
We can only hope the little guy went to bed shortly after his father's speech was over. He's definitely going to need some rest after last night's events.
If I was on stage with Donald during his speech, there's no doubt I'd fall asleep. I'd try convincing myself it was all just a nightmare, too.
