There's Now An Official Contest To Crown The 'Sugar Baby Of The Year'

by Eitan Levine

After years of unregulated competitions and underground tournaments, there will finally be a definitive and official answer to who this nation's top Sugar Baby is.

SeekingArangement, a website billing itself as the go-to online spot for rich dudes to pair up with hot, not-rich women, is hosting “Sugar Baby of the Year.”

After fielding submissions from 10,000 applicants, SeekingArrangement narrowed the field down to 12 women and had them pose for a calendar.

According to Cosmopolitan, SeekingArrangement founder Brandon Wade said girls on the site aren't as vapid as you'd think.

He claimed,

[The] majority of women enter into the world of sugar dating with a solid goal in mind. Whether it is the means to finally pay their tuition and complete their degree or even find a mentor that is unmatched in knowledge and use this leg up to better their lives further down the road.

And I mean, he's pretty right.

Based on the voting page for the contest, where finalists are encouraged to try and rally support through social media to gain votes, you can tell women competing in “Sugar Baby of the Year” are a diverse group, full of motivated and powerful females.

Take Cat, for instance, who wants to be a model, or Erica, who wants to be an actress -- or Hailee, who aggressively isn't seeking employment at all. I mean, you can even check out Jenna who... Actually, Jenna wants to be a speech pathologist. That sounds pretty legit.

Good for you, Jenna. Shoot for the moon.

OK, hardcore #TeamJenna right now. EVERYONE MAKE SURE JENNA WINS SO SHE CAN HAVE MONEY AND NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR COLLEGE BY DATING WEIRD, OLD FINANCE BROS!
