Here's How To Watch The 2017 AMAs So You Don't Miss A Single Thing

by Kelli Boyle

The American Music Awards are coming up this Sunday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. EST, and Bruno Mars leads in this year's list of nominees with a total of eight nominations, including Artist of the Year. The night is going to be filled with performances from artists like Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, P!nk, and more. There are plenty of awards shows honoring musicians throughout every year, but unlike the Grammys that determine winners based on votes from a select group of people in the industry, the AMAs winners are determined by the fans who vote online. Whether you've already cast your votes or are just planning on watching and not participating, here's how to stream the 2017 AMAs so you don't miss out on a single performance this year.

The easiest way to stream the AMAs is to watch it live on ABC.go.com. You'll need a cable login to do so, but who doesn't have a friend who can score us a free cable login these days? If you have cable at your apartment/house/mansion/just kidding none of us actually have mansions, you can just watch the AMAs starting at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday, Nov. 19, and at 5 p.m. PST. If you can't watch it live, Hulu might post it the day following the show like they have in previous years, but there's no guarantee on that.

As previously announced, the performer lineup for the 2017 AMAs is pretty awesome. Lady Gaga, Nick Jonas, Shawn Mendes, Portugal. The Man, Alessia Cara, Zedd, Florida Georgia Line, Hailee Steinfeld, Alesso, Watt, Imagine Dragons, Khalid, Niall Horan, P!nk, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, BTS, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, and Diana Ross are all set to perform this Sunday. DIANA. FREAKING. ROSS. I know, guys. I'm dying, too. Tracee Ellis Ross is hosting the 2017 AMAs, so it's pretty f*cking amazing that her mother is set to perform as well.

But let's just talk about one thing about the AMAs nominees: They're mostly men. Yeah. There are only a handful of women out of the entire list of nominees who are nominated in a non-gendered category, some of which are Julia Michaels for Best New Artist and Halsey for her collaboration with The Chainsmokers on "Closer." If you're wondering how artists like Cardi B, Kesha, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, SZA, Dua Lipa, HAIM, and Camila Cabello aren't nominated for literally any awards following a year of success and great music from all of them, I have no f*cking clue. Apparently, The Chainsmokers are better than all of them!!

Lots of people have noticed how sexist the AMAs nominations are this year, and they're not having it.
