Ryan Reynolds Trolled Blake Lively In The Best Way On Instagram & It's Everything
There are only a few celebrity couples that are real relationship goals, and now that we're down Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are carrying the Hollyweird's couple's torch. One of our favorite things about their relationship is Ryan Reynolds' comments about Blake Lively because they're hilarious and prove they don't take themselves or their relationship too seriously. You know, like normal folks.
Both Reynolds and Lively are known for trolling one another on social media, and for some reason we can't get enough of it.
Maybe it's because they're so freaking gorgeous, you'd think they don't understand regular social cues. Maybe it's because they're so famous, you'd think they never have to use their hands for things like drafting tweets. Maybe it's because we put such a massive societal pressure on public figures that you'd think it's totally taboo for them to make fun of one another in a public forum... but whatever it is, Ryan is capitalizing on it.
Lively is currently busy shooting a new film in Dublin, Ireland, and yesterday photos were released of her on set.
In the pics she looks... well... different.
Fans were shocked to see the Gossip Girl actress looking a little (a lot) rougher around the edges on the set for Rhythm Section, in which she plays an assassin spy.
Always one to cheer his wife on, Reynolds took the opportunity to comment on the photos the only way he knew how — by making fun of them.
While the rest of the world is freaking out over Lively's transformation and how totally committed she looks to the role, Ryan posted a photo with the simple caption, "#nofilter" on his Instagram.
Oof, brutal, Ryan.
The post quickly gained over 1 million likes and has commenters dying laughing.
It was reminiscent of when Reynolds wished Lively a happy birthday by hilariously cropping her out of a photo on Twitter with the message, "Happy birthday to my amazing wife."
Not one to be outdone, Blake wished Ryan "happy birthday" in a similar fashion when his birthday came around by cropping him out of a photo featuring a different (arguably more attractive - THERE, I SAID IT!) Ryan.
LOVE TO LOVE, BLAKE.
She also totally roasted Ryan on Instagram once when she shared this message to her "true" love John Legend.
She wrote,
Congratulations to the most influential person in my life. The best man I know... you deserve this @time 100 honor ... If only my husband wasn't blocking you in this shot. I'm so sorry @johnlegend
Of course, we all know that their stupid banter is all in good fun, as these two are clearly obsessed with one another.
When they aren't busy goofing off, they are busy being the most beautiful two people to ever walk on a red carpet and stare lovingly into one another's eyes.
Plus, they can get away with poking fun at one another thanks to how often they actually sing one another's praises.
After having their baby, Reynolds once told David Letterman on The Late Show,
I'm not one for vomiting declarations of sentiment out across the airwaves, but when we had that baby, I fell more in love with my wife than I'd ever been in my entire life. I couldn't even believe it.
Literally, stop.
He also thanked her while accepting his award for best comedic performance at the MTV Movie Awards saying, "I want to thank my wife, Blake. Everything I do is to make her laugh, especially the sex."
Kinda makes up for the #nofilter joke, doesn't it?
