People Think This Taylor Swift Music Video From 2009 Proves Who The Baby Voice In "Gorgeous" Is

Guys, I've been an avid Taylor Swift listener since the days of "Teardrops On My Guitar," and I recognized the baby voice in the beginning on her new single almost immediately. Sure, I might be wrong, but as soon as I asked myself who the baby voice in "Gorgeous" is, I instantly thought of a music video Taylor released back in the day. Remember her song "The Best Day" that was released with a music video full of nostalgic home vids of Taylor Swift as a baby? Good, because if you watch that video again, you'll realize baby Taylor talks in the beginning of it. Of course, people (including myself) think the voice in the beginning of this music video from 2009 is the same as the voice in "Gorgeous," which she released at midnight on Oct. 20.

In the beginning of the video for "The Best Day," a very young Taylor Swift is talking to her mom, Andrea Swift. During the adorable conversation, Andrea asks Taylor about her curly pigtails and compliments her for looking "beautiful." Her teeny toddler voice sounds a lot like the voice at the beginning of "Gorgeous," and Twitter definitely agrees. Before we dive into the tweets, watch the video and take a listen for yourself.

I'm not sure why Taylor thought there were spiders in her hair, but the clip is still precious (not to mention this song makes me cry every time I listen to it).

Apparently, I'm not the only one who made the connection. A few people on Twitter instantly thought about the music video for "The Best Day" when Taylor released "Gorgeous," and a some of them think both baby voices are Taylor.

They think the voice in "Gorgeous" is Taylor when she was 3 years old.

Honestly, I agree. There has to be a connection.

Like I said, not too many people are relating the baby voice in "The Best Day" to the one in "Gorgeous," but a few fans definitely are... and it makes sense.

Nevertheless, the internet is confused, and the baby voice in Taylor's new hit is definitely to blame. From the moment Taylor posted an Instagram with the elusive baby voice, Twitter became baffled. Some people were confused, while others were downright creeped out.

Whether you think the baby voice is creepy or adorable, you can't deny the fact that it sounds a lot like Taylor's voice in her old music video. But before we jump to any conclusions, we'll have to wait for a confirmation from Taylor herself.

Even if the voice from "The Best Day" is the same as the one in "Gorgeous," there's no denying the fact both songs are totally different. After listening to "The Best Day," you'll realize the tune is an emotional tribute to her mother. "Gorgeous," on the other hand, is an edgy love song — and people think it's about her rumored boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
