A New York City based professional astrologer and author, Mecca Woods has been writing astrology content for Bustle since 2015, which has included daily, weekly, and monthly horoscopes. Aside from horoscopes, Mecca has also covered topics on love and astrological compatibility as well as celebrity astrology, and astrology and self-care. Mecca's astro-guidance has also appeared in places like Essence, Cosmopolitan, Tarot.com, and on TLC. Her books, Astrology for Happiness and Success and the Cosmic Coloring Book series (Adams Media) are on shelves now. Her next book, the Astrology Journal: A Celestial Guide to Recording Your Cosmic Journey will be released in August 2021. Currently, she sits on the board of the International Association of Ethics in Astrology where she works to help promote and encourage ethical standards, practices, and behaviors in the field of astrology.
