Apple's Update Will Let You Edit Your Screenshots, So Get Ready To Gossip

Raise your hand if the photo album on your iPhone is made up of 80 percent gossipy screenshots you send to your BFFs.

Yup, that's what I thought.

Look, everyone screenshots, but it gets really annoying to have to search through tons of photos just to find the specific screenshot you're looking for.

Luckily, the new iOS 11 update on our phones will make it easier to edit and organize our precious screenshots.

Markup, a feature found on iPhones, was once introduced in iOS 10, Mashable reports. It allowed users to doodle on their screenshots, Snapchat style. However, this nifty feature went unnoticed in iOS 10 because it was a little hard to find.

Lucky for us iPhone users, the iOS is changing with iOS 11, and we can expect a better, more accessible version of Markup for our screenshot desires.

Markup for iOS 11 will allow users to edit and find their screenshots as soon as they're taken, instead of having to search through the Photos app. All you have to do is take your screenshot, and it'll miraculously appear at the bottom left corner of your device.

Once you click on your easy-to-find image, you'll be prompted by an editing menu that'll allow you to add doodles, text, and signatures to your screenshot.

Cool right? Well, this new update gets even more practical.

Once you complete creating your screenshot masterpiece, you have the power of deciding whether or not you want to keep said masterpiece in the Photos app on your device.

In other words, this means you no longer have to worry about keeping compromising screenshots in your photo album for the world to see.

But I have a bit of sad news for my techies out there: iOS 11 doesn't roll out until Fall 2017, so you're going to have to wait a little longer before you can go Picasso on your screenshots.

In the meantime, you can head over to Snapchat to make art out of you screenshots. That is, if you aren't too busy stalking your friends using Snap Map.
