Bride And Groom Accidently Put 'Child' On Wedding Reception Dinner Menu

When most of us get a wedding invitation in the mail, there are only two things we really hope for: good food at the reception and an open bar.

Well, if you were invited to this couple's wedding, you probably weren't too stoked on the dinner options.

Thanks to an unfortunately worded invitation, a bride and groom accidentally offered their wedding guests the option of eating children for their reception dinner.

In what seems to be a simple yet tragic formatting mistake, the couple offered the choices “beef,” “pork” and “child (12 and under)” below the line “Please initial your choice of entrée.”

The invitation ends with a courteous, “Please let us know of any dietary restrictions,” which apparently don't include, you know, human flesh.

Though the couple probably weren't trying to spice up their reception menu with some grade-A child meat, that didn't stop the internet from calling the two out on their supposed cannibalism.

After a picture of the RSVP card ended up on Reddit, hundreds of users commented on the thread, tearing the invitation apart.

Some users were pretty strict on their dietary restrictions…
