This Clown Got Pistol-Whipped In The Face By A Guy Who DGAF

If you had told me in 2015 that 2016 would be a clown-riddled hellscape, I would have laughed at you and probably ended our friendship because seriously... that is a weird thing to predict.

But now? I'd probably call you up and apologize and ask how you were able to time-travel a year into the future.

Also, who wins the World Series? Let's start making cash like Biff in "Back to the Future II."

Since clown sightings have popped up everywhere across the US (there's even a map that catalogues all the different appearances to date), people have been taking a stand.

In this latest video above, one man dressed as a clown trolls people through various pranks, which are edited together in a compilation.

However, near the end of the video, this costumed menace scared a person who happened to be armed and, like the rest, pissed off about all this clown nonsense.

That's when this mask-wearing jerk got pistol-whipped back to next Friday.

Thankfully for the clown, this guy decided not to pull the trigger.

Although since there was a clown involved, we'll never know if a flag would appear out of the barrel with the word "BANG" written on it.

Of course, it's the clown in this video who ends up being the one running away, fearing for his life (and hopefully doing a bit of soul-searching as to what poor decisions led him to get hit across the face by a gun in the middle of the afternoon).

Why is this clown epidemic happening?

Recently, Elite Daily's own Adam Silvers sat down with psychotherapist Jessica Meiman, who spoke about the new epidemic.

Jessica said,

I think it has a lot to do with control. People who have had some kind of experience of being out of control, trying to take control back in a really aggressive and horrifying way.

When it comes to this trend, the only control I want used by these clowns is control, alt, delete.
