Simone Biles Hilariously Snapchats Struggle To Save Gold Medal In Fire Drill
If you're US Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and you're fleeing a burning building, you don't rescue your phone and pictures of loved ones -- YOU GRAB THAT GOLD MEDAL.
The 19-year-old posted a video on Snapchat of "The Final Five" running out of a building in the athlete's village during a fire drill.
It's so funny because she can barely keep it together.
In fits of hysterics she shouts,
The fire alarm is going off, but we've got our Gold medals.
Obviously Simone's got every reason to be giddy: She led US gymnastics to victory in the women's all-around this week.
The team was seen clutching their newly-earned gold medals.
After they realized it was a fire drill, Simone posted on Twitter, "When a fire alarm goes off in your building, grab your medal and gym bag. #everythingisokay"
Simone is back in the spotlight Thursday for the women's individual all-round.
She'll be up against Italian gymnast Carlotta Ferlito and it should be quite a show because, boy, there's some history between these two you need to know about.
